back in october my husband's stepfather turned 80, so we all went to paris to celebrate with his family. 80 is kind of a big deal so i made him a quilt. back when i lived in new york i worked in a graphic design studio that had all these amazing david hicks books, which is where i first saw one of his signature patterns that i knew i would eventually make into a quilt. so here it is.
(those are my husband's toes.)
for the label i traced my laptop screen onto a piece of white fabric with a micron pen. is it just me or has home printer technology just stalled since 2003? i've been waiting for a good home printer for way too long. so in the mean time i'll just trace my screen. liberty binding.
love this quilt!!
